Cynthia Gamez specializes in Argentine Tango and Ballet.  She has taught ballet for over 10 years principally to adults. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Theater Arts and Ballet Technique, and is a Cecchetti Council of America Associate instructor. She is also  DVIDA certified in Argentine Tango and in American Smooth, and is also a  Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) Certified Instructor. She has competed in the 2016 and 2017 USA Tango Championships, was a semifinalist in the 2018 Southern California Argentine Tango Championship in the stage category, and is a community organizer for tango events in El Paso and is  co-host of the Paso del Norte Tango Club Saturday Night Milonga, now in its 15th year. She has a passion for teaching adults and loves to share her knowledge of dance, ballet, and Argentine Tango with her students.
